ભીમરાવ રામજી આંબેડકર (૧૪ એપ્રિલ ૧૮૯૧ – ૬ ડિસેમ્બર ૧૯૫૬) એક કાયદાશાસ્ત્રી, રાજનેતા, તત્વચિંતક, નૃવંશશાસ્ત્રી, ઇતિહાસકાર અને અર્થશાસ્ત્રી તેમજ અનેક વિષયના જ્ઞાતા હતા. તેઓ ડૉ. બાબાસાહેબ આંબેડકર ના હુલામણા નામથી પણ જાણીતા છે. તેઓએ ભારતમાં બૌદ્ધ પુનર્જાગરણ આંદોલનની શરૂઆત કરી. તેઓએ ભારતીય બંધારણસભામાં નિભાવેલી જવાબદારીને કારણે તેમને 'બંધારણના ઘડવૈયા' તરીકે પણ ઓળખવામાં આવે છે. તેઓ ભારતના પ્રથમ કાયદામંત્રી હતા.
